The PerfMon Blog

About

The goal of The PerfMon Blog is to contribute knowledge back to the industrialists of the web who depend on the performance and availability of their infrastructures to conduct their business. Topics of discussion include:

  • Concepts in performance monitoring for web resources (applications, URL, web services, etc.).
  • Best practices for performance monitoring as established by Webmetrics.
  • Best practices for web application development (with performance in mind).
  • Performance monitoring technology.
  • Web technology and performance.

The content and opinions expressed in this blog are based on the best practices that have been defined by Webmetrics through years of experience monitoring the performance of web applications and conducting load tests.

Tyler Fullerton is the Sr. Sales Engineer at Webmetrics. He started at Webmetrics as a Software Engineer (fresh out of college from UCSD) and over time transitioned to the customer facing role of a Sales Engineer. He has three years of experience in the performance monitoring industry. His obsession with performance monitoring has compelled him to close his PuTTY windows and open WordPress.

If you would like to contact Tyler email him at: tyler.fullerton@webmetrics.com.
